North Petherton in Kelly’s Directory of Somerset, 1914

A structured extraction of people, places, businesses, churches, schools, organisations and public services

Source set: Kelly’s Directory of the County of Somerset, 1914, Parts 1-9

Scope and method. This document brings together all North Petherton information identified in the supplied 1914 Kelly’s Directory files. The main North Petherton gazetteer and directory entry is on printed pages 381-382. Supplementary cross-references were drawn from the county preliminary tables, the Bridgwater section, neighbouring parish entries and the trades directory. Abbreviations such as ‘frmr.’ and ‘mrkt. gdnr.’ have been expanded for readability; historical spellings and names have otherwise been retained. Where the directory did not give a full address, the address column says ‘Not stated’.

Key findings
